I think getting their message out there is a very big issue when it comes to operating small businesses. Most small business owners don't even bother with this. You have to distinguish yourself from the competition and using mediums mentions above to do this is can be cheap and effective. The radio and donations are really good ideas. You will be surprised to how many people listen to the radio and donations are always remembered.
